Crestron Electronics continues to experience rapid growth as we invest in resources and create new opportunities; as a result, we have an exciting opportunity for a Summer 2021 Intern (May 26th, 2021 - August, 13th, 2021) to join our Firmware Engineering team as a DevOps / Build and Release Engineering Intern in Rockleigh, New Jersey.

Qualifications

General Requirements

Must be enrolled in a college or university working toward a bachelors degree in Computer Science or closely related field.

Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week during the entire internship period beginning May 26th, 2021 and ending August 13th, 2021.

Must be commutable to and from the Rockleigh, NJ area for the duration of the internship period.

Technical Skills

Familiarity with Linux, Bash scripting, Python required

Familiarity with Jenkins, Crucible, LAMP stack a plus

Other Skills:

Must be responsible, self-motivated, creative, have a solid work ethic and have a desire to produce a quality product

Strong communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written, and listening) with the ability to articulate work at different levels of the organization

Strong problem-solving skills

Inquisitive individual with a desire to learn, possessing a long term desire to work in the DevOps / Build and Release space

Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously

Positive, personable, and able to work cohesively across various divisions

Crestron Electronics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support operations within our 88,000-square-foot distribution facility and contribute to a fast-paced, growing organization.

Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

Pick SMT WOs, pull/pack SOs, put away and replenish materials, perform cycle counts.
Work as a team to support the day-to-day business needs as follows: operating pallet jack, loading and unloading deliveries, plus other assigned warehouse duties.
Open to working OT if needed, including Saturdays and end of the month.
The job will require counting, handling material and lifting.
Plus, other duties (cross- train) as assigned throughout the operation, including other Buildings & Departments.

Qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
0-2 years of experience in warehouse or related field
Basic Computer skills required. Experience with Word, Excel, SAP and/or other supply chain software is preferred
Excellent attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills, and follow-through skills are required
